Writing book three of the Burning Son series. The intent was to make it back to Yale. 60k words into the book and we are nowhere near Mark’s homeworld. Yep, it’ll have to happen next book. I’m considering changing the title from Eclipse of the Son to Son Rise.

Hey Guys, someone asked me the other day if I had a map of the Burning Son space. The answer is yes. I haven’t published it because it is just a line drawing. The first thing to realize is that all of the story takes place in a section of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. The area of ‘known space’ is about 4500 by 3500 light years. The attached image is also a 2D representation of a 3D area of space, so sometimes the travel times don’t match this exactly. Anyway, enough lawyering. I present to you The Burning Son area of space.
