I went on vacation earlier this month. And while most of my vacation was writing my next book by the pool, I did take a day to do some fun things.
Month: August 2022
Day 30: A pic of something I find relaxing
Rain. As much as I love Colorado, I miss rain.
Day 27: Something that brings me joy.
Walking my dogs. They don’t agree on a lot, but they both love walks.
Day 25: Something I use during editing.
I use Pro Writing Aid, Grammarly, and Hemingway editing software. They don’t catch everything, but they make my editor’s job a lot easier.
The RMFW newsletter is up!
Had a wonderful trip to SeaWorld. It was cut short by rain, but I’d already done almost everything I wanted to do by that time.
Day 23: Me with another author
Here I am with Laurel McHargue. I love hanging with Leadville Laurel even if she doesn’t actually reside in Leadville anymore.
Day 1 of Writing Retreat
Im taking a Personal writing retreat. With a side trip. Three books coming out in the next three months, I think I’ve earned a personal day. Wish Stephanie was here with me, but we couldn’t make it happen this year. We’ll do something together next year.
Day 22: Something that keeps me from writing
Hiking. Terry Mixon manages to write while walking using Dragon, but I haven’t mastered that skill. It’s great to relax and enjoy the mountains though.
